Young Inspires

Young Inspires was first introduced by PyCon Taiwan in 2021 as a dedicated program designed to create a space for teenagers to learn, share, and connect. Through this platform, we hope to enable Young Inspirers (youth speakers and participants) to share their experiences, ideas, challenges, and problem-solving methods throughout their learning journey — inspiring more youth to engage in technology and innovation.

At PyCon Taiwan 2026, we are honored to invite four outstanding young speakers on-site, focusing on four major areas: Go & algorithm applications, community earthquake early warning, self-taught cybersecurity practices, and gaming & tech community management. Through live interviews and practical sharing, they will present their project ideation, design, and implementation process — cultivating diverse thinking, cross-group collaboration, and system-integration skills, while fostering dialogue and information exchange across generations.

Event Format

This year’s Young Inspires will be conducted in a live interview format for the first time. The event will take place over two days (Saturday and Sunday). On both days, there will be two sessions daily, with each session lasting 30 minutes — consisting of a 25-minute themed interview and a 5-minute live Q&A. During the themed interviews, a PyCon Taiwan host will converse with the speakers to explore their personal journeys, followed by an interactive Q&A session with the audience.
