Jiawei

Jiawei is a CS PhD Candidate at NTU. His research focuses on the deep generative models, with papers published at AAAI and WACV. He has a strong foundation in mathematical modeling and a passion for solving problems with both rigor and creativity. He has also excelled in several AI competitions, demonstrating his ability to apply research ideas to practical challenges. Previously, he interned in industry, where he developed both an engineer’s mindset and business sense through hands-on experience in clean code architecture, design patterns, and high-quality software development. He also values design thinking and enjoys tackling complex, ambiguous problems through structured and human-centered approaches.
